Setting a plan is much more than just setting timelines and adhering to your due dates. Planning should be quintessential practice, for projects, events and even day-to-day implementation to your life. Having a detailed, structured plan is what the Design Process encompasses. It is a series of steps that one follows during the formulation of a product from start-to-finish. In short, the design process is a five-step design thinking process.
Good design should inspire you to love the way you live at home… even if and when your kids are in it. Our designs aim for an authentic reflection of your lifestyle without pretense or pretension. The designer knows the weight of our responsibility is heavy because you entrust us with the most sacred and vulnerable of spaces.
Smaller projects may not necessitate every step in the design process to the same extent as larger, more complex ventures, but even the simplest projects will benefit from a systematic progression through a series of steps in logical sequence to solve the design problem.

STEP 1

CONSULTATION

The design begins knowing our client, their homes, preferences, ideas, and desires.  The goal of the first meeting is to exchange information, walk through the home with the client and understand their lifestyles and preferences.  Together we addressed the problem areas, solutions and their vision for the new space.

STEP 2

PROPOSAL

After the initial consultation, a proposal to the client will follow, this is a simple documented agreement between our firm and the client which state what it will take to make it all happen, what’s is to be done, by whom, by when and how much would it cost. Once agreed and signed by both parties, the design work begins as well as hiring the right people for the right job.

STEP 3

DESIGN CONCEPT & DEVELOPMENT

This phase involves the work of the designer researching, drawing, space planning, generating ideas, envisioning what the project will look like, and how each individual space will be transformed to become something new while maintaining consistency throughout the design process.

STEP 4

PRESENTATION

Today’s technology allows us to make one to one virtual presentation no matter where you are.  Interior Designer will present to you, the existing, and the new layout, the inspiration and new design concept for each of the areas to be designed.  The presentation incorporates all selected furniture, lighting, accessories, materials, colors, rugs, partitions and much more to provide our clients with a vision and a real feeling about the way space will turn out to be.

STEP 5

BUDGET ANALYSIS

Good design begins with a good design concept. You’re trying to solve a problem and your concept will lead the way and give you direction for your design decisions. How do you form a concept? What questions do you need to ask in order to develop one? How does your concept become the roadmap for your design?

STEP 6

HIRE A CONTRACTOR

Good design begins with a good design concept. You’re trying to solve a problem and your concept will lead the way and give you direction for your design decisions. How do you form a concept? What questions do you need to ask in order to develop one?

STEP 7

PROCESS, EXECUTION, INSTALLATION.

Working on a design project is one thing, but giving a clear and thorough speech on the project is often another. Simply informing your audience of the cold, hard facts may not be enough; when you are trying to sell someone on your ideas, you need to captivate them.
